We have released a new version of bcrypt [1]
This fixes an issue with the new M1 macOS machines.
bcrypt is a wrapper around the OpenBSD Blowfish password hashing algorithm, as described in
"A Future-Adaptable Password Scheme” [3] by Niels Provos and David Mazieres.
The bcrypt repository at erlangpack [2] is in active maintainance and used as the basis of the Hex package.
