Trouble building SSL in 22.0.2

Adam Lindberg-7
Hi,

When building 22.0.2 using asdf and kerl, I get the following build error:

    Build failed.
    ERLC   ../ebin/pubkey_crl.beam
    VSN    ../ebin/public_key.app
    VSN    ../ebin/public_key.appup
    make[3]: Nothing to be done for `opt'.
    === Leaving application public_key
    === Entering application ssl
    ~/.asdf/plugins/erlang/kerl-home/builds/asdf_22.0.2/otp_src_22.0.2/lib/ssl/src/deps/ssl.d:1: *** missing separator.  Stop.
    make[2]: *** [opt] Error 2
    make[1]: *** [opt] Error 2
    make: *** [libs] Error 2

The contents of ssl.d:

    No such command in 22.0.2 of erlang

Full log here: https://gist.github.com/eproxus/5a4ab985e4187edc6b5778f186fb4c1b

Any ideas how this happened and what to do to fix it?

Cheers,
Adam

I had this issue as well, I was on a very old version of asdf. Upgrading asdf fixed it for me.

That’s it, thanks! Updating from 0.6.0 to 0.7.2 and upgrading asdf-erlang to latest makes the build pass out of the box (including using wxmac 3.0.4 from Homebrew).

Cheers,
Adam

Adam

Can you put the steps here for future reference?
